A new pianistic genre
Confluenza
Confluenza is a pianistic genre in which different musical traditions — classical, jazz, singer-songwriter, popular music — naturally converge into a single narrative flow, guided by the sensibility and instinct of the moment.
Melody as a common language
Italy is the land of bel canto — the tradition that for centuries has taught the world that melody is not ornament, but the very heart of music.
The musical
Dialogue
At the heart of Confluenza lies an idea as simple as it is visionary: the great composers of music history, separated by eras, geographies and traditions, can finally speak to one another.
The piano becomes a place outside time, where a master of Romanticism can whisper an idea to a giant of jazz, and receive an answer neither of them, alone, could have imagined.

About
MicheleDi Toro
Italian pianist trained at the highest level in both the classical tradition (Conservatory of Pescara with honors and special mention, École Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris) and jazz (Civici Corsi di Jazz in Milan, F. Gulda Prize, honorable mention at the Martial Solal International Competition). His dual mastery lets him inhabit, with equal authority, musical worlds that tradition has always kept apart, making them speak to each other through his piano.
